Lacuna, in her visit to the Manila Bulletin, bared that there are four new schools and three housing projects due for completion in 2023.

The local chief executive added that administration of President Marcos is also eyeing to construct more vertical housing projects in the city, particularly in the Binondo area.

Various housing projects were also launched by the city government last year in an aim to provide low-cost housing to impoverished Manilenos.

Among these were the Basecommunity, Pedro Gil, the San Lazaro, and San Sebastian Residences.

Several schools were also launched last year, including the Alejandro Albert Elementary School, Rosauro Almario Elementary School, and the Manila Science High School, which are all 10-story modern buildings, with around 200 air conditioned classrooms, elevators, basketball courts, gyms, and roof decks.

Lacuna was joined by Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto and Manila Reps. Ernesto Jr. Dionisio, Rolando Valeriano, Joel Chua, Edward Maceda, Benny Abante, and Irwin Tieng during the courtesy visit.
