Arnedo takes over as new Bulacan police OIC

Col. Relly B. Arnedo officially assumed his post as the new Bulacan Provincial Police Office (BPPO) officer-in-charge (OIC) during the turnover rites led by Philippine National Police - Provincial Police Office 3 (PNP-PRO 3) Director Brig. Gen. Cesar A. Pasiwen at Camp General Alejo Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan on Tuesday, September 7.

Arnedo, who was chief of the Regional Investigation Detection and Management Division (RIDMD) of PRO 1, succeeded Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla who served as the Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO for five months.

Arnedo emphasized that the whole Bulacan PNP force, under his leadership, would continue to work tirelessly to execute the heightened campaign against illegal drugs and terrorism, as well as to counter all forms of criminal activity in order to preserve peace and order throughout the province.

He also said that he is steadfast in his implementation of "the internal cleansing" and that he would not condone any "bad apples" in the police organization.

Arnedo reiterated that he would take a stern stance in anti-crime initiatives while strengthening his support for PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr.'s peace and security framework entitled “MKK=K” (Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran) which is supplemented by “KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan) Program.”

The MKK=K and the KASIMBAYANAN aims to address internal and external issues of the PNP, create good relationships with different sectors and government agencies, and maintain peace and order.
