Veteran actor Michael de Mesa led their clan in remembering his late sister, award-winning actress Cherie Gil.
Michael wrote on Instagram: "I know you were with us — smiling, crying, and laughing at the beautiful memories we shared of you with each other."
"We miss you so much! But in our grief, we smile knowing that you are hugging Ralph again. We love you, Cherie!," he added, referring to the real name of late actor Mark Gil.
In 2014 Mark died following a two-year battle with liver cancer. He was 52.
Cherie passed on “peacefully” in her sleep last Aug. 5 after a bout with cancer in New York. She was 59.
Michael, Mark, and Cherie, all actors, are children of seasoned actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil.
