A one-year-old girl died after she fell from a moving tricycle driven by her father in Teresa, Rizal on Friday, Sept, 2, police said.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. along J. Sumulong Ave. in Barangay Bagumbayan.
Police investigation showed that the victim, together with her mother and two siblings, was riding a tricycle driven by her father when she accidentally fell from the vehicle.
As she landed on the ground, the girl was run over by a jeepney.
The child was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Both the victim's father and the jeepney driver are now under the custody of the police for further investigation.
