Moonstar88 try to postpone a heartbreak with latest release 'Next Week'

Moonstar88

Moonstar88, a Filipino band known for Pinoy love anthems releases another hugot song about one’s procrastination for a heartbreak entitled "Next Week". The song is a plea for one’s significant other to postpone a breakup …  hoping that next week he will be more ready, next week it will be less painful.

“Next Week” is proof that one can find inspiration for a song from anywhere. It was inspired by a video of “Gandang Gabi Vice" segment uploaded on Facebook where Vice Ganda and Bella Padilla talk about heartbreaks and how they bargained with their lovers to breakup with them the following week because they cannot handle such sudden loss.

The song was written by Herbert Hernandez, though he started writing the song July 2017, he was only able to finish it by collaborating with his bandmate from 6cyclemind, Ryan Sarmiento. It is the 1st single for the band's upcoming album entitled Lourdes 2088 under Warner Music Philippines.

Moonstar88 is a multi-awarded female-fronted pop-alternative band composed of Maysh Baay on vocals, Herbert Hernandez on guitars, Buddy Zabala on bass, and Bon Sundiang on drums who top-billed sold-out concerts locally and internationally. They are one of the favorite live acts at universities, festivals, corporate shows and other events.

Available to stream at all digital streaming platforms on Sept. 2.
