HYBS cook up their long-awaited LP album 'Making Steak' out now


The waiting and anticipation has finally come to an end as Bangkok-based indie-R&B duo HYBS release their first debut LP Album titled ‘Making Steak’. The duo, composed of James Alyn Wee and Karn Kasidej compiled the 8-track album which showcases what the guys get up to during their music sessions. Their four previous releases ‘Ride’, ‘Dancing With My Phone’, ‘Go Higher’, and ‘Killer’ have already reached a total of 39M Spotify streams within months since their debut in October 2021. They have also garnered over 6.8M unique listeners and 383K user-playlists added. 



Currently on Thailand's selected Spotify Radar Artist, their signature mood and vibes are tenderly marinated with every track throughout the album to cook up never-before-heard sounds that aim to give their fans new flavors with an umami kick to the ears. The album’s carrier single “Would You Mind'' is an easy listening track that showcases their creativity as a duo. HYBS’ pre-sale of 500 physical copies for ‘Making Steak’ last Aug. 16 via the LINE shop in Thailand was met with unwavering support and sold out in a matter of six hours. Aside from their solid Thai fanbase, they have amassed a huge following in neighboring Southeast Asian countries, notably The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Majority of the duo’s Philippine audience are in Quezon City, with over 57K listeners, which is proof of their constantly growing fanbase.
