MindNation, Southeast Asia’s pioneering mental health and well-being company founded by Filipino women entrepreneurs, has launched a mobile app in the Philippines to make mental health care more accessible to Filipinos.
With the MindNation app offers a one-stop shop for your holistic well-being needs. With the app, one can now take care of her or his well-being any day.
“When mental health support is convenient and easily accessible, people are motivated to proactively take care of their mental health and make it a habit,” said MindNation Chief Impact Officer Kana Takahashi.
The app not only gives access to 24/7 teletherapy services, it also comes with a Daily Mood Tracker and WellBeing Quiz© that an individual can regularly track emotions and understand your state of well-being. Clinically-based and data-backed, the results come with recommended ways to attain better states of well-being.
App users can also access MindED, an on-demand learning program that allows them to master mental health skills, develop good well-being practices and support your journey towards healing through audio/visual exercises, toolkits, and worksheets.
Downloading the MindNation app is FREE and is available on Google Play and the App Store.
In launching the app, MindNation noted that one in two Filipino employees are struggling with mental health concerns. App will help by providing the support that they need, and more.
According to the company, the app development was in response to a study which showed that Philippine companies lose over P700,000 per 1,000 employees annually, a cost based on loss in productivity due to mental health concerns in the workplace. Suicide also remains one of the top causes of death in the country and the rate has risen during the pandemic. “Stigma and lack of access to proper care contribute to this staggering data,” the company said.
MindNation was founded by Filipinas - Monique Ong, Kana Takahashi, Cat Triviño. It was first launched in the Philippines in 2019. In 2021, MindNation expanded globally in the Middle East and Latin America to provide mental healthcare programs and assistance to organizations and individuals alike. The Philippines remains MindNation’s largest market.
Within nearly 3 years of success in the mental healthcare space in Philippines and with the continued mission to make mental health care accessible and less stigmatized, the MindNation app is an innovation that delivers access to quality mental health care (psychologists, WellBeing Coaches©), quizzess/assessments, tracking, chat and more.
