Blackwater guard Baser Amer took a break from the PBA and made a quick stop to experience another competitive field – the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Admittedly a huge V33Wise fan, Amer along with Bossing teammates Rey Suerte and Mike Ayonayon were in attendance in Week 2 Day 2 of the MPL Philippines Season 10 last Saturday, Aug. 20, at the ICITE Auditorium in Libis, Quezon City and got a first hand experience of the exciting games between some of the top teams in the league.
The 29-year-old cager actually followed MPL and was a huge fan of M3 World Champion Blacklist International, particularly the dynamic duo of Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, as well as other contending teams Omega Esports and Nexplay Evos.
“Actually three teams (ang favorite ko), Omega, Blacklist and NXPE,” said Amer.
“I’m a big fan of V33Wise and syempre sobrang humble na si H2 (John Paul Salonga) and sa Omega kasi gusto ko yung fighting spirit nila sila Ch4knu (Joshua Mangilog) and sila Kelra (Duane Pillas.),” he added.
“I’m a big fan ng Mobile Legends. I also play Mobile Legends pero yung Mobile Legends ayaw sa akin,” said Amer in jest.
Amer and the Bossing are in the middle of their preparation for the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup which is slated to open on Sept. 21.
