It said that as such, the shrine is now registered as a spiritual partner of the Liberian Basilica and through the grant, it can impart plenary indulgence to pilgrims on the following dates:

- On the feast day of the titular of the Liberian Basilica (Aug. 5)

- On the feast day of the titular patroness of the shrine (May 12)

- On all Solemnities of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God

- Once a year, on a day chosen by every faithful person freely

- As often as people in crowds will have made pilgrimage to that place for the sake of devotion

The decrees were signed by the Archpriest of the Papal Liberian Basilica and by the Major Penitentiary on June 7 and 8.

According to the CBCP News, the Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish was founded in 1863 and is the mother parish of Muntinlupa.
