Zero crime incident during first day of face-to-face classes in Central Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA -- The Central Luzon Police reported no single crime incident was recorded during the first day of face to face classes on Monday, Aug. 22, at least in the region.

The ‘zero-crime’ record was attributed to the strict implementation of ‘Ligtas Balik-Eskwela 2022’ carried out by Police Regional Office 3, said PRO3 Information Office.

PRO3 Acting Regional Director Police Brigadier General Cesar R Pasiwen said that the “zero-crime incident” can also be attributed to the diligent efforts of Philippine National Police personnel.

They had done their part to ensure the safety and security of the students, especially within the school vicinity.

“We have deployed almost two thousand personnel for the opening of classes and I commend them for their effort in performing their duties,” said PBGen. Pasiwen.

“Indeed, it paid off with no single crime incident reported. I would also like to thank the public for their cooperation and support to us,” added Pasiwen.

The Police Assistance Desks and Motorists Assistance Centers are still in place to ensure maximum police presence.
