Aguilar and his family had been in isolation in the past seven days after testing positive with the virus, preventing the 6-foot-9 forward from joining the national team pool training which formally started last Monday, Aug. 15.

After receiving a negative test result, Aguilar immediately went to the Meralco Gym in Pasig City and took part in the last day of training before the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announces the Gilas Final 12 on Monday, Aug. 22, for the game against Lebanon later this week.

Also in attendance were Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson, Adelaide center Kai Sotto and PBA players Arvin Tolentino, Scottie Thompson, Chris Newsome, Roosevelt Adams, Calvin Oftana, and Jamie Malonzo. They were joined by collegiate standout Carl Tamayo along with B. League imports Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena, Ray Parks Jr and Dwight Ramos.
