A LARGE crowd gathers Saturday, Aug. 20, at the DSWD-Region 2 in Tuguegarao City to get educational aid.

Mayor Maila Ting Que called the attention of the DSWD after the payout created traffic at the Carig Regional Center, particularly the Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Saturday, Aug. 20

Que observed that there was no crowd control and health protocols were not followed.

She urged the DSWD to coordinate with local government units about their payout to avoid mess like these.

"This could have been done better. Little notice was given to the public, only shared posts about some of the criteria and payout."

Que allowed the use of city government facilities and said they are willing to help in the process of payout.
