Amid the country’s current Covid-19 situation, a health expert believes that it is not yet the right time to further ease the restrictions related to Covid-19.

“Well for now, it’s too early para luwagan natin ang restriction. Let’s observe in the next few weeks kung medyo mas ang trend ng mga kaso pababa,” said Dr. Rontgene Solante, head of the Adult Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine unit at the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila, during a public press briefing.

“Darating din tayo diyan sa pagluwag ng mga restrictions but for now it’s important that we still have to maintain all these restrictions at this point in time,” he added.
