Brigadier General Pasiwen is new Central Luzon regional director


SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga -- Police Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen formally assumed his post as the new regional director of the Police Regional Office 3, after the turnover ceremony held at Camp Julian Olivas here on Tuesday, August 16.

Pasiwen, a native of Mankayan, Benguet, and a member of Philippine National Police Academy Sandigan Class of 1994, replaced Police Brigadier General Matthew Baccay who has been transferred to the PNP Directorate for Personnel and records Management in Camp Crame.

Police Regional Office 3 covers the provinces of Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and Aurora.

Prior to his assignment as Central Luzon director, Pasiwen was the Executive Officer of the PNP Northern Luzon Area Police Command composed of the regions of Central Luzon, Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley.

Pasiwen thanked Chief PNP Rodolfo Azurin, Jr., for the trust and confidence the PNP chief gave him.

“It is a great honor to be given the privilege to head the Central Luzon Police Office and serve its people,” said Pasiwen during the simple ceremony.

“Rest assured that your police will serve its mandate for the best interest of the people," added Pasiwen.

He said: "We shall be spearheading the peace and security program entitled MKK=K (Malasakit, Kapayapaan, Kaayusan = Kaunlaran) and this can only be achieved when the PNP does its role in the community."

"Peace and order can be achieved only with the help of the community so we shall implement programs to enhance community relations. With peaceful environment, Business will flourish. We want only the best for the people," Pasiwen added.
