According to Biazon, Cruz-Del Rosario is the first registered female architect in the Philippines and is the first female architecture graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in 1947.

“Si Lola Aida ang kauna-unahang centenarian sa aking panunungkulan bilang mayor ng Muntinlupa kaya naman talagang espesyal ang okasyong ito (Lola Aida is the first centenarian under my term as Muntinlupa mayor, that is why this is really a special occasion),” Biazon posted on Facebook.

Cruz-Del Rosario was born in 1922 and is a resident of Barangay Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa.

He said under Republic Act 10868 (Centenarians Act of 2016), Filipinos who turn 100 are given cash gifts to recognize their contribution to the country.

Under Muntinlupa Ordinance 18-147, enacted by the City Council in February 2018, residents who turn 100 will be given P100,000.
