A swift series opener set the tone for the dominant victory although the rout didn’t come without a huge scare as Omega still had to survive a tight Game 2 affair to score full three points in the standings.

It was a wire-to-wire win for Omega in Game 1 as Christian “Raizen” Sumagui dictated the early game tempo on his jungle Thamuz pick, finishing with a spotless 3-0-4 KDA while Patrick “E2max” Caidic orchestrated the plays with the precise arrows from his Selena to also chalk up a clean 3-0-6 line.

It was a huge stomp for Omega as the defending champs couldn’t even take down a single tower for the side of last season’s first runner-up. Omega drew first blood with a 10-3 demolition of RSG in the opener.

RSG PH looked like the team that had recently won the MSC title in Game 2 as it seized control of the match with a series of five-man rotation to take out major objectives. A midlane Faramis pick for Arvie “Aqua” Calderon also worked wonders for RSG as they got the upper hand in most of the team fights.

Sticking to its "never-say-die” mantra, however, was Omega which patiently waited for power spikes and recovered from a wipeout to contest and complete a Lord steal against RSG.

Omega, behind Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ signature Beatrix pick, returned the favor with a wipeout of its own against RSG to cap off the 18-15 come-from-behind series clinching win. Kelra unloaded a 6-2-5 line on his way to copping the MVP honors while Raizen provided the sustain and protection on the Thamuz with a 2-2-7 KDA.
