The club announced the development Thursday, Aug.11, through a social media post and gave Cowart a warm welcome.

"COWART JESSIKA REBECCA is the new reinforcement of the champion of Serbia," read the translated post on Facebook and Instagram.

Cowart, 22, is set to join a squad that has won 12 titles in the Serbian League and seven crowns in Serbian Cup.

Cowart was one of the key cogs in the Filipinas title run in the 2022 AFF Women's Championship last month.

She made her debut appearance for the national team during the friendly against Ireland before coming in instrumental in the AFF Women's Championship.

In the final against Thailand, Cowart converted a header off a Tahnai Annis corner pass to provide an easy 1-0 edge against the Thais at the seventh minute.

Her goal at the seventh minute set the pace en route to the national team's first AFF crown ever.

Cowart followed the footsteps of Filipinas teammate Quinley Quezada, who signed with Red Star Belgrade, in Serbia as well.
