Located in a coastal area, PRC said that volunteers needed to cross the Abra river to be able to reach the said barangay.

Ilocos Sur was one of the provinces affected by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck its nearby province, Abra, on July 27.

The PRC volunteers also conducted hygiene promotion activities for 12 families, or 92 individuals, and distributed 5,000 liters of water through a water storage bladder in Barangay Villamar.
