Parañaque LGU to conduct vaccination in all campuses in preparation for F2F classes

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced on Monday, Aug. 8, that the vaccination of students will be conducted in all campuses in the city in preparation for the opening of face-to-face (F2F) classes on Aug. 22.

Olivarez said the city has 46 campuses that will be used as vaccination sites for students, teachers, and other school officials to give them additional protection against Covid-19 before the school opening.

He said Parañaque City will be adopting blended learning starting Aug. 22, three days for F2F classes and the remaining two days will be through online or modular.

The mayor made the announcement during the kick off of “Brigada Eskwela” held at the Parañaque National High School.

Rep. Edwin Olivarez said the city government is now upgrading the facilities of all campuses in the city for the opening of the school year.

He said that as reported by the Parañaque School Division, there are about 90,000 students already enrolled while another 20,000 are expected to enroll.

The city government also distributed school supplies to students during the kick off of “Brigada Eskwela” with the theme: “Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral.”
