Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced on Monday, Aug. 1, that the local government unit had already distributed the P500.00 monthly financial allowance to Grade 7 to 12 public school students for September and October 2021.
Olivarez also added that for the following weeks, the LGU will distribute the next allowances to kindergarten, SPED, and grade 1 to 6 students.
“Bina-budget-an natin ito ng P600 million kada-taon para mabigyan ng P500.00 monthly allowance ang 110,000 na public school students,” Olivarez said.
This financial assistance program is a project by Mayor Eric Olivarez where he vowed to help students with financial difficulties to pursue and finish their education and “meet the needs of students throughout the city.”
