Poll Chairman George Garcia is planning to create a Commission on Elections (Comelec) Academy during his term.
He said the purpose of this is to train and educate all their incoming and current employees and officials of their duties, and responsibilities.
"There will be officials or employees that will say they will just learn their jobs in the next six months to one year," said Garcia in a press briefing on August 3.
"What we want is everyone we will hire must undergo training and learn our curriculum," he added.
Garcia said even their current employees will undergo the required trainings.
"Learning must be constant. Your knowledge must always be upgraded," he said.
Garcia said he will already order the conduct of a feasibility study on the matter.
Aside from establishing a Comelec Academy, the poll chief also wants to create the Office of the Comelec Spokesperson as a permanent entity, and a Comelec marshal.
"The Comelec marshal is the one that implements all our issuances," said Garcia.
