PRC: Over 18,000 pass June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers


A total of 18,860 individuals passed the June 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

Of this number, 8,667 were elementary teachers while 10,193 were secondary teachers. For the elementary teacher passers, 290 were first timers and 8,377 were repeaters. Of the secondary teacher passers, on the other hand, 695 were first timers while 9,498 were repeaters.

Meanwhile, PRC disclosed that no institutions across the country achieved a passing percentage of at least 80 percent for the Elementary Level licensure exam.

For the Secondary Level, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Tech., was named as the lone university with more than 80 percent passing percentage of the boards. It garnered a rating of 84.62 percent.

Charline Tiquin Juntilla of Compostela Valley State College - Montevista Branch, with a rating of 93.40 percent, garnered the highest place in the June 2022 LET Elementary Level, while Marvin Cabel Nillas – also an alumnus of Compostela Valley State College - Montevista Branch, with a rating of 94 percent, was named as the top performing examinee for the Secondary Level of the said exam.

The LET was conducted on June 26, 2022. It was given in 19 testing centers all over the Philippines.
