DOTr bares new PNR, LRTA chiefs


The Department of Transportation revealed Friday, August 5, new railway officials who were appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to lead the Philippine National Railways (PNR) and the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA).

DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista led the oath-taking of Jeremy Regino as PNR Acting General Manager, along with Henry Uri as acting member of the PNR Board of Directors on Thursday, August 4.

Regino served as the previous Administrator of the LRTA under the Duterte administration while Uri is a seasoned broadcaster and member of the Board of Directors under the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

Meanwhile, LRTA's former spokesperson and corporate board secretary, lawyer Hernando T. Cabrera, was also sworn in as the agency's new Administrator.

Their appointments will be confirmed by their respective Board of Directors, according to Bautista.
