This is in light of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Abra and nearby areas on July 27 which resulted in fatalities, damage to properties, and distress in people of the communities.

The Calamity Assistance Package will consist of the Calamity Loan Assistance Program and a three-month advance pension for pensioners, said SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Michael G. Regino.

SSS said that more details about the program will be posted on its social media accounts in the coming days.
