P1.3-M shabu seized, 5 drug pushers nabbed in Central Luzon buy-busts


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police seized over P1.3-million worth of suspected shabu and arrested five alleged drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Pampanga and Bulacan Saturday, July 30.

In Pampanga, Mark Anthony Dulay, of Barangay Calantas, Floridablanca, yielded 15 sachets of shabu weighing 73 grams valued at P483,000.

In Bulacan, Faisal Lawanza, Faisal Rampa, and Makakna Makaangon, all residents of Fairview, Quezon City, were caught with 13 sachets of shabu weighing 60 grams worth P408,000.

Also in Bulacan, a factory worker, Norhata Hassan, of Barangay Bulihan, Silang, Cavite, had on her 10 sachets of shabu weighing 70 grams and valued at P476,000.

The office of Police Regional Office 3 director Police Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said all in all, 38 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing approximately 203 grams with a street value of P1,367,000 and P3,000 marked money were seized from the suspects.

Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article 2, of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.
