Filipino artist Ronnie Liang thanks GOT7’s BamBam for singing ‘Ngiti’ at Manila show


Filipino singer Ronnie Liang expressed thanks to K-pop boy band GOT7 member BamBam for performing his song at a Manila show.

GOT7’s BamBam and Jackson Wang, and idol group Treasure headlined the “2022 K-pop Masterz in Manila” show on July 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

During his set, BamBam sang Liang’s “Ngiti” (“Smile”) as a surprise gift for Filipino fans.

After learning about it, Liang took to social media to thank BamBam.

“Thank you so much, kamsahamnida @bambam1a for Singing my song on your concert. I am truly honored & grateful for this. Thank you for sending smile or Ngiti to your Filipino fans. Welcome to Manila, Kamsahamnida God bless! #bambam #got7,” Liang wrote on Twitter and BamBam retweeted it.

At the show, BamBam also performed “Wheels Up,” “Ride or Die,” “Look So Fine,” “Who Are You,” “Pandora” and “Ribbon.”

BamBam also surprised the audience by calling Sandara Park, or Dara, former member of 2NE1, to the stage. She performed 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care.”
