RSG Philippines will begin its title retention bid against the same team it beat to claim the crown last season.
The defending champion will take on Omega Esports in the season opener while the dynamic duo of Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario will make their official return against Nexplay Evos in an explosive opening day action in the MPL Philippines Season 10 on August 12.
The MSC king tackle Omega at 6 p.m. before Blacklist International open its bid for glory against NXPE at 8 p.m
Just like last season, double-headers will be played during Fridays and Sundays, while triple-headers will be offered during Saturdays.
Other marquee matchups in the opening week of the tournament are the clash between rivals Omega Esports and Blacklist which highligths a three-game lineup the next day before ECHO tests the new-look Onic Philippines to cap off an eventful opening week.
The tournament will be organized by Grindsky which earlier teased the possibility of opening the regular season games to live audiences.
