Pasay City public hospital hits full capacity, stops accepting patients

The Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) is no longer accepting patients after all its medical and surgery clean wards, medical and pedia transition wards and emergency room beds have reached full capacity.

The hospital also informed the public that the hospital waiting list for emergency room (ER) admission had surpassed more than 20 patients.

The hospital management advised that all admissible patients be brought or transferred to other health care facilities for proper and immediate management.

Officials of the hospital appealed for public’s understanding for the inconvenience.

The hospital will be advising the public once it is open again for admission.

A staff from the city government’s Public Information Office (PIO), however, clarified that the hospital’s full capacity status is not related to Covid-19 cases.
