Abra lone district Rep. Ching Bernos has shared photos of the damage wrought by the magnitude 7.3 earthquake that rocked her province on Wednesday morning, July 27.
The photos were taken in Bangued, Abra.

"Abra was the epicenter of a 7.3-magnitude earthquake that occurred earlier at 8:43 AM. This strong earthquake shocked many of my beloved Abreños and caused damages to many households and establishments. This earthquake was also felt in various parts of Luzon and activated preemptive measures in many places," Bernos said in a statement immediately after the earthquake on July 27.
"I urge everyone to stay alert and to prioritize safety in light of the possibilities of aftershocks that might be felt after that strong earthquake. We are monitoring the situation on the ground and gathering information on the extent of the damage to the Province. My office is also actively coordinating with proper authorities on what can be done to assist families and communities that were severely affected by this earthquake," she continued.
