The Provincial Youth Sports and Public Employment Service Office (PYSPESO) of the Bulacan local government announced Tuesday, July 26, the reopening of the nomination for the Gintong Kabataan Awards (GKA) 2022 after two years of delay due to the pandemic.
Gov. Daniel R. Fernando encourages the Bulakenyo youth ages 15 to 30, who are natives of Bulacan or living in Bulacan for the past three years, to submit their application on or before August 12, 2022.
Fernando said that the categories that could be joined include Gintong Kabataan sa Kagalingang Pang-akademya at Agham (high school level or college level), Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Sining at Kultura (individual or group), Gintong Kabataang Entreprenyur, and Natatanging Sangguniang Kabataang Barangay Council.
Others categories are Natatanging Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President, Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Paglilingkod sa Pamayanan (individual or group), Gintong Kabataang Manggagawa (professional worker, skilled worker, or government employee), Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Isports (individual or group), and Gintong Kabataang Bayani.

GKA is the highest honor for the Bulakenyo youth that holds the “K” quality – Kahusayan and Kakayahan.
