According to Police Lt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesperson of the Negros Occidental police, a team from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City arrived here last week to conduct Field Evaluation and Validation (FEV) as part of the process in selecting the best police provincial office in the country.
During the team’s visit, Police Col. Leo Pamittan, Negros Occidental police acting director, presented the accomplishments of the unit – both administrative and operational.
The evaluators conducted rank inspection, checked the personnel’s uniform, accoutrements, and paraphernalia in compliance with the Letter of Instruction (LOI) Tamang Bihis Alpha.
They also conducted document review at different sections of the provincial police headquarters and concluded with the execution of the Nocppo Camp Defense Plan.
A graded demonstration of the unit’s readiness to execute defensive actions in case of enemy attacks at Nocppo was also held as a form of Simulation Exercise (SIMEX).
The awarding rites will be held during the 127th Police Service Anniversary in Camp Crame.
