CSB coach Jerry Yee said the Lady Blazers would be back next season with an almost intact roster as they will only lose Queen Anne Salmon to graduation, making them the heavy favorites to replicate their amazing title sweep.

“Except for Salmon, all the rest of my players are on their second year this year,” said Yee, who steered CSB to a two-game title sweep of the Arellano University Lady Chiefs and a perfect 11-win season that was capped by a masterful 26-24, 25-12, 25-9 Game Two victory at The Arena in San Juan City.

Among the players who played significant roles in the current triumph that are staying put are reigning season MVP and first best outside spiker Mycah Go and Finals MVP Gayle Pascual.

The other remnants are Jade Gentapa, Cristy Ondangan, Michelle Gamit, setters Clo Mondonedo and Chenae Basarte, and liberos Kim Alison Estenzo and Angelika Mondejar.

Also with eligibility left were Cathrina Dizon, Ma. Camill Avila and Corrine Allyson Apostol.

While a dynasty is a strong possibility, Yee said they would take it a game at a time.

“For us, our mentality has always been one game at a time,” said Yee.
