BPI and Ayala Foundation, Inc. invites everyone to join its donation campaign for the arts
There are many ways one can immerse themselves in arts. But when it comes to learning a nation’s culture and heritage, among the best ways to do it is by visiting exhibits and museums. Being one of the top private museums in the country, Ayala Museum has been bringing Filipino arts and culture closer to the masses through engaging exhibitions and exciting cultural programs. This time, Filipinos can have a more active role in promoting arts and culture as the Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI), the social responsibility arm of the Ayala Group of Companies, joins forces with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).
On July 20, the two institutions made their mission for strengthening the local arts and culture scene official with the launch of a donation campaign. BPI cardholders are encouraged to donate to AFI to support its education program.
“We invite our generous BPI credit, debit, and prepaid cardholders to participate in this effort while deepening their knowledge of the local art scene,” said Jenelyn Z. Lacerna, SVP and unsecured lending and cards, products, and sales head of the BPI. “This is as the bank continues to aspire to be at the forefront in championing Philippine art through various initiatives for better arts awareness and appreciation.”
According to a news release, every P1,000 or greater donation using a BPI credit, debit, or prepaid card will contribute to funding children’s education. As a token of gratitude, every donation comes with a free ticket to the Ayala Museum.
“Our collection has delighted the arts and culture enthusiasts among the BPI Cardholders,” said Ma. Elizabeth “Mariles” L. Gustilo, senior director of arts and culture of the Ayala Foundation. “We welcome those who have not joined in this effort yet as we invite them for a very enriching experience at Ayala Museum, as part of our mission to build and nurture partnerships to achieve impact, scale, and sustainability for everyone involved,” said Ma. Elizabeth “Mariles” L. Gustilo, Senior Director of Arts & Culture, Ayala Foundation.
Apart from making history, art, and culture accessible to the public through physical exhibitions, the Ayala Museum also uses non-traditional platforms to present our country’s rich heritage in fresh, engaging, and innovative ways.
