Former bank employee wanted for qualified theft falls in Nueva Vizcaya


BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – Police arrested a 54-year-old former bank employee wanted for qualified theft in a police camp here Thursday, July 22.

A report from the office of Police Col. Ranser Evasco, Nueva Vizcaya police director, identified the suspect as Vilma Villaseca, promotions officer of a motor vehicle parts store and a resident of Solano, this province.

Villaseca was arrested in Camp Col. Daniel C. Lantion Sr.

The warrant of arrest for Villaseca was issued on July 6, 2022 by Judge Leo Felix S. Domingo, presiding judge, Regional Trial Court Branch 28 here.

Villaseca faces 23 counts of qualified theft and the court recommended bail of P40,000 for each case.

The suspect, along three other former employees, alleged the bank of millions of pesos in 2005. Villaseca and his cohorts all in all are facing 161 counts of qualified theft before the court.

Her accomplices remain at large. Suspect is detained at the municipal jail here.
