This can be gleaned from his recent Facebook post marking his "graduation" from the executive course on legislation that he took part in.

This "crash course" for neophyte congressmen was facilitated by the University of the Philippines-National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG)

"Thank you to UP-NCPAG and the congressional secretariat for organizing such an insightful executive course for all the incoming neophytes! It definitely built on the 2 and a half years of experience I already had from working at the house ," the presidential son wrote.

"Excited to get on the floor in a weeks time ," he added. The House sessions will start on Monday, July 25.

Marcos previously worked as part the House majority leader's staff in the 18th Congress under Leyte 1st district Rep. Martin Romualdez.

Marcos, 28, has already filed his first 10 bills.

His father, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., will deliver his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.
