President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has reportedly asked for a simple and traditional atmosphere at his delivery of his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Batasang Pambansa on Monday, July 25, 2022.

This was bared by House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza, who also presided over the unveiling of the new-look plenary hall of the House of Representatives that went with the renovation job on the entire Batasang Pambansa complex which reportedly cost P100 million.

There’s also sad news in Philippine sports after the son-in-law of erstwhile Asian sprint queen Lydia de Vega disclosed in a Facebook post that the track legend is in serious condition at a Makati hospital.

Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte disclosed that President Marcos has given his approval to institutionalize blending learning in Philippine education.
