10 passengers almost crushed to death by 'pison' which rammed their multicab in Biliran

TACLOBAN CITY – Ten passengers of a multicab were almost crushed to death after their vehicle was rammed by road roller (“pison”) in Barangay Pili, Almeria, Biliran, Tuesday, July 19.

Authorities are tracking down the operator of the construction vehicle – Pio Diloy, foreman of E.G. Canabe Construction, of Carigara, Leyte.

Information obtained by the Police Regional Office (PRO) 8 headquarters disclosed that the road roller was hastily descending the downhill curved road in Sitio Puro, Barangay Pili and suddenly crossed to the other lane and collided with the multicab which ended up in a ravine.

The multicab was on the way to Naval, Biliran from Kawayan, Biliran when the incident happened.

Passengers were rescued and taken to the Biliran Provincial Hospital in Naval.

Diloy reportedly escaped after the incident.
