Drug den raid nets 7 high-value targets in Pasay City


Seven drug suspects tagged by the police as high value targets (HVTs) were arrested by members of the Southern Police District-Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DEU) during a raid at a drug den in Pasay City on Wednesday, July 13.

SPD Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the suspects as Reynaldo Blacer Gomez, 50, the drug den maintainer; Ener Ragay Dominguez, 36; Romeo Toepe Cortez, 26; Denver Donggon Dominguez, 18; Jospeh Cabidog Tablada, 46, a pedicab driver; Marjohn Abenojar Guinto, 34; and Orly Manalo Donggon, 35, a construction worker, all residents of Pasay City.

Macaraeg said the suspects were nabbed around 7:30 p.m. inside the drug den being maintained by Gomez located along Mary Luz M. Dela Cruz, Pasay City.

The SPD chief said districts DEU, in coordination with District Intelligence Unit and the Pasay City police with Certificate of Coordination issued by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), raided the drug den.

Macaraeg said confiscated inside the den were 14 sachets of shabu worth P149,600.

He said the P500 bill used as buy-bust money placed inside a red coin purse was also confiscated from Gomez.

The SPD chief said the suspects are now detained at the SPD-DEU custodial facility and charged for illegal possession of drugs.
