Fitz Herrera’s latest exhibit titled “Affirmations: A Happy Mood” is an acknowledgment of the intrinsic truth of life, as he presents notions of acceptance and coexistence as an abstraction. The works aim to encourage the viewer in accepting perceived differences from various perspectives, as well as recognizing sameness, a common ground. The accordance of colors is the foundation of Herrera’s art practice, honoring balance and creating a sense of peace which he aims to manifest.
