PUP-DAPR Grand AdClash

30 years of grand legacy

Grand AdClash, the annual case competition for the fourth-year students of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP-DAPR), returns in its 30th year after a two-year hiatus.

Grand AdClash is an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) campaign competition that serves as a final requirement for the graduating students before they step into the Advertising and Public Relations industry. It presents the students' most innovative and creative ideas by planning and executing campaign materials ranging from traditional advertisements to digital executions and event activations.

The Grand Playback
Grand AdClash's legacy honors the brilliant Mr. Leonardo "Nards” Garcia Jr. and Ms. Elizabeth "Bets” Santos who created and initiated Grand AdClash in 1991. It has grown from being a classroom activity to becoming the most anticipated event in the DAPR community. It inspires students to become more creative and strategic, uplifting the department's vision of producing notable graduates like Jonathan Manalo (multi-award-winning songwriter, composer, arranger, and record producer), Sofia Tawasil (multi-award-winning copywriter), and Marcelo Santos (well-known author and brand ambassador)—some of PUP-DAPR's pride.

In Grand AdClash’s third decade, the participants will continue the glory of their pioneers in serving brilliant and creative ideas that impressed clients. Who will be this year's client? Stay updated on #GrandAdClash, follow their social media accounts here.
