More than 750,000 applications for voter registration have so far been received by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the December Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls.

The Comelec said the 757,316 new registrants is as of July 11.
These voters are those aged 15 to 17 years old with 473,565 applicants; 18 to 30 years old with 242,633 applicants; and 31 years old and above with 41,118 applicants.
Other types of applications received by the Comelec are the following: 133,829 Applications for Transfer from Other Cities/Municipalities; 32,466 Applications for Transfer from within the same City/Municipality; 5,650 Applications for Transfer with Reactivation; 1,941 Applications for Transfer with Reactivation and Correction of Entries; 6,922 Applications for Transfer with Correction of Entries; 38,832 Applications for Reactivation.
It also received 8,961 Applications for Reactivation with Correction of Entries; 25,478 Applications for Change of Names/Correction of Entries; 33 Applications for Inclusion of Record in the Book of Voters; 13 Applications for Reinstatement of Name in the List of Voters; and 2,364 Applications for Transfer from Overseas Voting to Local.
The total number of all types of applications received is 1,013,805.
Voter registration resumed last July 4 and will end on July 23, 2022.
