WATCH: Rodriguez grooves to Elton John tune while on break

All work and no play makes Rufus Rodriguez a dull congressman.

In a surprising display of disco moves, Cagayan De Oro 2nd district Rep. Rodriguez took a break from writing bills and resolutions for the 19th Congress by--how else? Dancing.

Rodriguez was listening to Elton John's 1972-released classic bop "Crocodile Rock" during a bill-writing session when he suddenly felt the need to groove with the song.

He posted a video of himself rocking to the beat on his Facebook page.

“While working on additional bills to be filed in the 19th Congress for several weeks now and listening to the Billboard Top 100 Songs in 1973 in CD, I can’t help but dance in my seat to Elton John’s Crocodile Rock at No. 7 in 1973,” Rodriguez wrote in his post on Thursday, July 7.

“Sayaw while ga trabaho mga higala! Pawala sa kapoy (Dance while working, friends! It gets rid of fatigue),” he added in Bisaya.
