Rosanna Ocampo invites Filipinas to embrace their femininity with her latest collection

The Filipina designer launches a collaboration collection with Plains and Prints

For more than 20 years, Plains and Prints has created a legacy of making Filipinas feel beautiful through its ladylike pieces. That mission continues until today as the homegrown fashion brand collaborates with a designer that shares the same love for dressing Filipinas—Rosanna Ocampo.

With their latest collaboration work, the two are inviting Filipinas not only to celebrate the beauty of womanhood but also to create more memorable moments, whether in the city or a tropical getaway. Rosanna, with her training from Milan’s Instituto Marangoni, merges the brand’s dainty style with her girl boss aesthetic, thus creating a fun, flirty, and feminine collection.

Rosanna aims to produce clothes that can easily adapt to any woman’s adventure, with no outfit changes needed—and she achieved just that. Serving romantic and timeless style, the Plains and Prints x Rosanna Ocampo collection is consist of 11 pieces, featuring intricate embroidery details, geometric prints, and asymmetrical cuts that blur the lines between relaxed and conventional, making it easy to transition from one occasion to another.

“My inspiration revolves around color, prints, and texture. I love more is more,” the designer says. “When I was asked to do this collaboration, I just wanted it to be a continuous process of what I already normally do. I think when you reach a certain age, you’re already so confident in your own skin to wear a lot of colors and all these details, which means you already know who you are.”

During its launch at the 1120 House in Makati City, Rosanna, together with Plains and Prints owner Roxanne Farillas and the brand’s muse Anne Curtis, welcomed everyone to explore the new collection. While this is not the first time Rosanna worked with the brand, doing a line spotlighting the design sensibility just feels right, as per Roxanne.

“Rosanna’s designs are so in sync with our brand and our mission, I’m excited to introduce the collection to our discerning patrons,” Roxanne muses.

The Plains and Prints x Rosanna Ocampo will be available in all Plains and Prints stores nationwide and online on July 19.
