2 traffic enforcers nabbed for extorting money from Dutch man in Bacoor

BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Two traffic enforcers were arrested in Barangay Panapaan V after allegedly extorting money from a Dutch.

The Bacoor City Police Station identified the suspects as Albert Velasquez and Carl Xavier Galang of the Bacoor Traffic Management Department.

According to the report, the suspects accosted the victim, Marek Moens, who disregarded the traffic light in the area.

The suspects reportedly extorted P4,000 from the victim so he would not be penalized for the traffic violation.

The suspects are facing robbery-extortion charges.
