50% to 75% workforce for trial courts in areas under Covid Alert Levels 1 & 2


Trial Court

Due to the reported increase in Covid-19 cases, trial courts in areas under Alert Levels 1 and 2 have been directed to maintain an on-site workforce of 50 to 75 percent of total personnel until Friday, July 8.

Also, trial court judges in these areas may conduct proceedings through video conferencing instead of face-to-face hearings.

The directives were contained in a circular issued by Court Administrator Raul B. Villanueva on instructions by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo.

The National Capital Region (NCR) is under Covid-19 Alert Level 1 until July 15.

Other areas under Alert Level 1 until July 15 include:
