President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. embarked on a flurry of activities on his first Monday on the job, starting with the flag raising ceremony at Malacanang to a closed-door meeting with officials of the Department of Agriculture (DA), which he will be temporarily leading.

His son neophyte congressman Sandro also reported for work at the House of Representatives, humbling himself before curious media men, and said that he had been told by his illustrious father to “shut up for the first four months” as he learns the ropes of a lawmaker.

Vice President Sara Duterte likewise started to realize her dream of establishing a network of offices all over the country, starting with six satellite offices aimed at bringing the VP closer to the people.

Fuel prices are set to go down on Tuesday, July 5, with diesel slated to decrease by P3 per-liter, and kerosene by P3.40.
