Mayor Biazon urges Muntinlupa city employees to give public fast, efficient service

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon attended his first flag-raising ceremony as the new local chief executive on Monday, July 4, and urged city employees to give fast, responsive, efficient, and effective service to the public.

In his inaugural address when he took his oath of office on June 30, Biazon emphasized that “lagi natin tatandaan na bilang mga public servants, ang mga mamamayan na lumalapit sa atin ay dapat nating ituring na customer (let us all remember that as public servants, the people who go to us should be considered our customers).”

He said proving “service with a smile” will be a standard for all employees at the city government.

At the flag ceremony, he said, “Ang gawin nating mantra (Our mantra should be) is for us to give F.R.E.E. service with a smile.”

He said F.R.E.E. service means Fast, Responsive, Efficient, and Effective.

“All of those we should serve with a smile. Let’s make it our mantra. Pampagaan ng loob ng mga constituents na ating pinaglilingkuran lalo na yung mga nasa kalagayan na naghihirap sila, may pinagdadaanan. (To ease the burden of our constituents that we serve, especially those who are in a difficult situation, those who are going through something),” said Biazon.

He added, “We should make it our role na pagaanin ang nararamdaman ng tao lalo na yung may pinagdadaanan because that is the reason why we are here (We should make it our role to ease the burden of the people especially those who are going through something because that is the reason why we are here). That is the purpose why we are here.”

“Let us make it fruitful everyday habang nandito tayo (Let us make it fruitful everyday while we are here),” he said.
