Man busted in Bacolod cemetery, P408,000 shabu seized


BACOLOD CITY - A man possessing 60 grams of shabu worth P480,000 was arrested in a cemetery in Barangay Bata here on Saturday, July 2.

The subject was identified as Ereneo Pranisa, 34, of Barangay Tangub here.

Police Capt. John Christopher Masangkay, head of Police Station 5, said that Pranisa is considered a high value individual, following the confiscation of more than 50 grams of illegal drugs.

As to the source of the illegal drugs, Pranisa’s source is from a contact inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City, and was reportedly being sent to him through a courier service.

Masangkay said they are checking the background of Pranisa if he has a criminal record. He is detained at Police Station 5.

The operation was also in coordination with the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
