Former VP Robredo gives glimpse of daughter Tricia‘s in-person graduation

The long wait is over.

Dr. Tricia Robredo, one of former Vice President Leni Robredo’s daughters, finally attended the graduation ceremony for her medical degree from the Ateneo de Manila University’s health sciences program.

The former vice president and now chairperson of the anti-poverty organization, Angat Buhay, shared a post on Facebook on Sunday, July 3.

“2 years late - Tricia’s face-to-face Med School Grad (celebration emoji),” she wrote, as she shared snaps of Tricia and one with her three daughters. Robredo’s other daughters are Aika and Jillian.

Tricia also shared an Instagram Story, showing her graduation toga.

Ateneo had to suspend its graduation rites in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tricia is a member of Batch 2020 of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH).

She finished a Dual Degree in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2020 before volunteering to her mom’s Bayanihan E-Konsulta, the free telemedicine consultation provided by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) during the pandemic.

She will soon attend Harvard University’s Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery program after delaying attending a residency program to help in the ex-vice president’s pandemic response programs and 2022 presidential campaign.
