Las Piñas LGU starts administering Covid-19 booster shot to minors aged 12-17


The Las Piñas City local government started administering “Bakunahan sa Kabataan” first Covid-19 booster shot to minors aged 12 to17 on Saturday, July 2.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said four malls and six covered courts were prepared by the city government for the vaccination of the teens.

Aguilar said the four malls are the SM Southmall, SM Center, Robinsons Mall, and the Village Square; while for the covered courts are Gatchalian, Bambusetum, Almanza Uno, Golden Acrrs, Verdant and TS Cruz.

She said two other areas that were also converted into vaccination sites are the University of Perpetual Help Dalta System Gym and the Villar Sipag Old House.

Aguilar advised the parents or guardians of children who will receive text confirmation for their scheduled first booster shot to bring the vaccination and identification cards of their kids.

She said parents and guardians also need to bring their valid identification cards to prove their filiation.

The mayor said children who are immunocompromised must present their respective medical certificates at the vaccination sites.
